Sunflower Lecithin Powder is a light tan to medium yellow powder. This product is a food grade Lecithin. It is made from sunflower seeds. Typical applications: improving dough in bakeries and preservation of baked products, stabilising emulsions, stabilising sauces, stabilising emulsified fats in confectionery, caramel type.
Function / Dosage:
This product can be used as an ingredient in food applications. Recommended dosage is 0.3% to 1% as consumed in the final product. It works well with liquids and quite well with fatty preparations. Recommendations for use: blend the powder beforehand with other powdered ingredients in the recipe (sugar, flour etc). Disperse in a cold or hot liquid and heat up to 50°C (60°C maximum) for complete dissolution.

Shelf Life:
Store in a clean, dry, well-ventilated warehouse at ambient temperature, away from odorous materials. Storage at temperatures greater than 35ºC may lead to a decreased shelf-life. For stock control purposes, a shelf-life of 12 months is specified.

This product shall at the time of delivery conform in every respect to the provisions of the Australia/NZ food standards and regulations made thereunder. AFIS does not use genetically modified organisms for the manufacture of their products and to the best of our knowledge the above product is manufactured from raw materials that have not been genetically modified. This product does not require labelling as a genetically modified food in accordance with FSANZ 1.5.2
